About me

Senior developer with a focus on stable, maintainable systems and clear architecture. Most recently, I operated and further developed an enterprise web shop with 18 country instances (PHP 5 → 8.2 in live operation), API design, performance, and scaling.

Tech focus: PHP 8.2, FastAPI, TypeScript/React, Docker, Linux, Git/CI. I've built my own CMS (YaWK) and am working on bigfield.ai – a modular AI/music tech platform (stem separation, chord ID, mixer/FX). I plan cleanly, deliver pragmatically, and think API-first.

I'm a creative maker - I love the Raspberry Pi and playing around with sensors and close to hardware programming in Python. I'm a stress-resistant person and get the most out of my skills when I'm in love with a project.

I'm also a musician/sound engineer and studio owner. This mix of technology, music, and product thinking sharpens my eye for UX, quality, and what resonates with the user—not just what "works." Familiar with video production too.

Adobe Software (Photoshop & Co) are standards to me. MS Office / OpenOffice as well. Typing skills (420 / min)

I'm on the web before it was there. Started a BBS with my telephone line when I was 15 years old. Google wasn't born yet. I'm into webdesign from 1997 until now...

Web Development

I'm familiar with all needed techniques: HTML / CSS / PHP / JS and more. I wrote my very own Content Management System and I'm using it whenever it makes sense.

SQL Database

Today's web data needs to be stored. MySQL is my first choice for this job since ever after. I'm experienced with storing / retrieving / importing and exporting data.

Since 2012 - to me, responsive design is way more than a buzzword. It became an industry standard. Any website must work on tablets and phones as well these days.

Loading Speed
